Arena Peñasco

Arena Peñasco is a coastal sports and events stadium conceived as a steel ellipse set on a rocky clifftop. Its weathered, monolithic metallic shell echoes the geological character of the coast and creates a civic presence visible from land and sea.

The interior opens upward in a perfect ellipse, flooding the pitch with natural light. A public perimeter promenade lets visitors circle the building and experience its relationship with the ocean from every angle. At dusk, the metallic skin turns the stadium into a lantern above the cliffs.
