Casa Terra

Casa Terra is a monolithic contemporary house of sand-ochre lime render, its earthen volumes seeming to grow from the dry-stone terraces that hold the hillside. Clay-toned walls settle among olive and almond trees and aromatic scrub, with the sea opening quietly in the distance.

A deep shaded porch runs along the living spaces, while a stone-edged pool rests on the lower terrace facing the water. The entire palette is drawn from the ground itself — clay-colored plaster, dry stone and natural timber. Nothing imported, nothing bright.
