01

Context

Finca Marés is a traditional Mallorcan country house reimagined on a rocky headland, its honey-colored marés and rubble-stone walls rising directly from the coastal rock. Timber shutters, hand-laid tile roofs and the deep shade of a stone porch belong to a building language centuries old, while mature palms, cypress and olive trees frame the house as though they had always grown there. It is a finca that wears its history lightly and comfortably.

02

Visual Direction

Outdoor life gathers at the seaward edge, where an infinity pool sits flush with the cliff and a stone deck of sun loungers faces the long Mediterranean sunset. Within the thick walls lies the finca's cool, quiet heart: a barrel-vaulted spa pool carved in marés stone, lit by arched niches and shaded by timber beams, with olive trees standing in terracotta jars. Old stone and still water, warmed by the afternoon — the house is at once rooted and serene.
