Hotel Boutique

Hotel Boutique is a small-key hotel set on a rocky headland, built in the language of the coast's old stone houses: honey-toned rubble walls, timber shutters, tiled roofs and beamed pergolas. An infinity pool runs the length of the seaward façade among palms, cypress and olive trees, so that arriving at the water happens in continuity with the landscape rather than against it.

Inside, reception opens through a great stone arch that frames the sea like a painting, with a solid timber counter, woven pendant lamps and terracotta jars. The sequence continues to an arcaded restaurant terrace under bougainvillea, and ends in the hotel's cool heart: a vaulted travertine spa lit by candles and niches, its indoor pool aligned between the arches. Old stone, timber and still water carry the whole project.
